Hello my treasured friends in Christ ! What an honor it was to go through such an experience as DTS, October 1998 last year at this time. Sometimes it just seems unimaginable. And lifes goes on ... for us all. Bit we are richer for knowing one another. I'm very thankful to Olivier. Having this web page is such a gift to us !! Thanks Olivier.

When i returned home last spring, it was cold in Boston ! I was so pleased when we had several large snow storms before spring really arrived ! An answer to my prayer that not many others here at home were thankful for.

I spent a few weeks with my previous housemate, then i moved into Grace Children's Home (GCH). GCH was started by my pastor and his wife a year ago, June. After much renovation and "ground" work, Katie, our first child, arrived on September 1, 1999.
Two weeks after her arrival, she gave her life to Jesus ! Although the healing of her emotions continues, the transformation is amazing. PLEASE JOIN US IN PRAYING for the right family to adopt her. Now she's such a part of the family here, it's difficult to think of her leaving, but she needs to put roots down soon and have lasting security, and get on with God's plan for her life.

As well as living here at the children's home and being in charge of approximately seventy (70) volunteers, i am working two 12 hours shifts a week at the hospital. I was eagely welcomed back into the neonatal intensive care unit. This was a huge answer to prayer and continues to be a great blessing for me.

One of the highlights of the summer was the trip to beautiful Switzerland (where there are many wonderful people living:)). The excitement of welcoming each person as they came from other parts of europe was such an amazing feeling. On the other hand, watching them go and saying good-bye ... my heart sank a little i guess. How is it possible to feel so close to people ? It can only be God.

Worhsipping together again was incredible. Just being another ... it was such a gift. It cultivated a lot of thankfulness in my heart for the precious opportunity we all lived in during DTS.

One morning God showed me something in a psalm. "Oh, sing to the Lord a new song ! For He has done marvelous things; ... (ps 98:1) God had done a marvelous, wonderful work in our school; beyond what i ever have imagined. And yet, i left things behind here ann took the risk og oing. Even though it was exciting, it represented the "unknown". And ... God was faithful, as always. He did marvelous things. Now, "sing to the Lord a new song !". He wants to do new thongs in our ives; marvelous things. As we venture on into the unknown, we know He is faithful.

I pray blessings and revelation upon each of you in the holiday season, and the coming millenium ! i am so thenkful to god for all of you !

My sincere love to everyone.

Pamela.
